The Dark Knight

Undoubtedly the movie of the month is "the Dark Knight". For all those action fanatics, it unlike you have ever seen. The cast is very well balanced, from experienced actors like Morgan Freeman, to dynamic actors like Heath Ledger.

Its kinda sad to know that such a good actor is not amongst us anymore. "The Joker" is the main bad guy played by Heath Ledger, and all he wants to do is create chaos. A statement that he makes in the movie is that he is like that dog who is chasing cars, when he catches the car he wouldnt know what to do about it. The villian actually does want to kill the Batman but wants to play with him. According to him what would the Joker do , if batman wasn't there.

Some of the superb actions sequences ever filmed. Like all batman movies, the batman uses alot of gadgets, but nothing is compared to his Bat mobile. In a scene the bat mobile is ejecting our hero and guess what actually happens, a bike emerges out of the mobile. A superb sequence with him on his bike, people in the theatre actually clapped and cheered. I haven't seen such clapping in the theatre after "gangajal"

The actress in the movie dies, not that its big secret. One could say that the movie has only a couple of sentimental scenes, its all about the action. The story line is quite well laid out, so much happens in the first half, its like you will really start looking forward to the second half.

To sum it I would give the movie a 4.5 out of 5. A must watch for movie fans. A great movie. Do ont miss it!
